MICHELIN GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED 2019

MR JWW PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • 1) This free prize draw is open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 and over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of this prize draw.
  • 2) No purchase necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted and all entries must be made on the original entry form. Entry forms that are incomplete, illegible or photocopied will not be accepted.
  • 3) The prize is a pair of entry tickets to Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 plus the winner will get a passenger ride (one passenger place, winner only) up the Goodwood Hill Climb, alongside Mr JWW on Sunday 7th July 2019. One prize available. The opening date for entries is 17:00 on 18th May 2019. The closing date for entries is 19:00 on 22nd June 2019. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
  • 4) By submitting a prize draw entry, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms.
  • 5) The enter the Promotion you must submit your entry via the Michelin Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 entry form available at https://marketing.michelin.co.uk/p/FOS2019/competition.html. All entries must be submitted via the stated web address.
  • 6) The Promoter will select the winner at random from the correct entries during week commencing 24th June 2019 and the winner will be notified by telephone or email on or before 28th June 2019.
  • 7) If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 4 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  • 8) The Winner will be contacted directly with further details of the prize, including any health and safety requirements and timings and location of the event, in particular the Hill Climb. To participate in the Hill Climb, the winner must wear long sleeves and full length trousers. A helmet will be provided. Please be aware that no video or photography will be permitted during the Hill Climb.
  • 9) The prize is subject to availability and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Please be aware that due to the live nature of the event, the Goodwood FOS event and the Hill Climb is subject to timing changes or cancellation outside the control of the Promoter. If the Goodwood FOS and/or Hill Climb event is cancelled, no alternative prize or passenger experience will be available.
  • 10) Internet access required. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  • 11) Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Please see the Privacy Statement below for further information.
  • 12) To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is directly caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants' statutory rights are not affected.
  • 13) The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winner(s) and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails legal.general@michelin.com or writes to the address set out in these terms (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within two month after the Closing Date of the competition. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter using the details above. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to relevant supervisory authorities on request.
  • 14) The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter's decision is final.
  • 15) This prize draw is governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
